Robin Beattie


Anyone who knows me at all, knows I am from Texas. Many people think Texans are obnoxious and have no reason to be.  I wanted to use this as an opportunity to share why I love Texas- food and community. Flamewrangler is designed to be an authentic Texas brand that inspires people to gather with friends and family for good food and good times. I integrated the classic song, “Deep in the Heart of Texas”, into each part of the project. Each image on the labels illustrates a different line of the song.  During the development of this project, I was able to experiment more with texture and discovered how much of an effect it can have.
